Elizabeth Morris

Elizabeth Morris, graduate teaching assistant in performance and critical theory studies at California Institute of the Arts, develops work around the specificity of place and people’s relation to space, culture, and memory in the postmodern era. Drawn by Portugal’s history and heritage Elizabeth research aimed to explore the collision of past and present in Messejana. The holistic nature of the timeless landscapes of Messejana inspired Elizabeth to develop proposals for future installations.
