Around 70 young people from rural areas of Alentejo and Extremadura learn to build and use environmental monitoring tools — weather stations and networked sensors — to look at the environmental issues of their home towns and discuss them together.
The project draws on the Making Sense citizen science methodology, adapted to non-formal youth education.
